Our Programs
Current Programs
Our programs are designed to empower participants to navigate complex systems and advocate for themselves and their families effectively.
Community Meetings and Convenings
Our Community Meetings and Convenings foster community bonding and enhance resource awareness among Latinx and immigrant residents. These monthly events include informational sessions, guest speakers, and group discussions covering healthcare access, legal rights, educational opportunities, and community services. Each meeting serves 50-100 participants and is conducted in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility.
Leadership and Resource Fairs
Our Leadership and Resource Fairs address the acute need for accessible information on legal rights, housing, healthcare, education, and emergency preparedness. Held three times a year, these large-scale events connect Latinx community members with local resources and opportunities. Each fair gathers a wide range of services in one place, including legal consultations, housing rights education, SNAP application assistance, and more. These fairs reach 200-300 participants per event and are held in central, accessible locations throughout Loveland.
Charlas and Workshops
Charlas and Workshops provide targeted education and support to empower Latinx residents to overcome barriers and improve their overall quality of life. These interactive sessions focus on health education, legal rights, and community development. Each session accommodates 50-100 individuals and includes expert presentations, Q&A segments, and hands-on activities, empowering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate complex systems and advocate for their families.
Upcoming Programs
In the coming months, we are planning to launch the following programs:
Raíces Maternas
Raíces Maternas is a support program for new mothers, offering bi-weekly group meetings that provide peer support, lactation education, birth story sharing, and parenting discussions. The program will be facilitated by bilingual healthcare professionals and peer mentors who understand participants' cultural context. Each session will serve 20-30 mothers and provide a safe space for sharing experiences and gaining support. This program addresses the gap in culturally and linguistically appropriate maternal healthcare, reducing maternal stress and improving health outcomes for both mothers and their children.
Community Strength and Support Initiative for Men
This initiative will provide regular meetings with group discussions, guest speakers, and community-building activities for Hispanic/Latinx men, especially newcomers and immigrants. The program aims to decrease isolation, increase community belonging, improve emotional well-being, and develop a supportive network. Meetings will be held bi-weekly and facilitated by bilingual mental health professionals and community leaders.
Youth Engagement Program
The Youth Engagement Program will address gaps in mental and behavioral health support, personal development, and community engagement for Hispanic/Latinx youth. Activities will include weekly home-cooked meals, personal development workshops, community-building projects, and mentorship opportunities. The program is designed to enhance mental and behavioral health, foster personal development, and increase community involvement.
BIPOC Youth Soccer League
Our BIPOC Youth Soccer League will provide an inclusive, affordable, and culturally enriching environment for children and their families. Hispanic/Latinx volunteers will serve as coaches and mentors, providing positive role models and engaging the community in meaningful service. The program will ensure low- or no-cost participation through community fundraising, sponsorships, and grants. The league will also incorporate cultural education, celebrating the rich heritage of soccer in Latin America and other regions, helping children connect with their roots, and enhancing their cultural pride. Regular soccer practices and games promote physical fitness, while team activities and mentorship support mental well-being.
